Terms and Conditions
To order goods through this website you must be over 18 years of age and accept delivery within the UK. The placement of an order indicates your acceptance of our terms and conditions.

Basingstoke Water Softeners reserve the right to refuse an order or change prices without notice.

All goods offered for sale are normally in stock. In the unlikely event that we are out of stock of any item you will be informed within 24hrs of receipt of the order or the first working day after weekends or public holidays. An estimated delivery date will be given and if this is not acceptable you will be given a full refund. Stock items will be dispatched within three working days of receipt of order.

We will only deliver to the address of the cardholder.
In the event that the carriers are unable obtain a signature for the receipt of delivery at your address the costs incurred for any subsequent delivery requests will be met by you.

If contacted we can advise the dispatch date and the likely day for delivery however we regret that we cannot specify a time of day for delivery. We cannot be held responsible for any failure on our carrier’s behalf for late delivery.

The carriers should be informed of any visible sign of damage on delivery and the details recorded on their paperwork before signing for the receipt of goods. You should inform any third party of these conditions before they accept and sign for the delivery on your behalf. We should also be contacted by telephone within 24hrs of receipt of goods advising us of any such damage.

Basingstoke Water Softeners will only accept returns via recognised carriers unless otherwise agreed.

Goods can be returned for a refund within fourteen days of the date ordered or seven days of receipt, however the cost for their return will be incurred by you, exceptions being goods received damaged or faulty.

We should be contacted by telephone within seven days of the receipt of goods or within 14 days of placing your order stating the reason for returning the goods. If all conditions of sale have been met you will be issued with a returns number. Goods will not be accepted and any subsequent costs incurred will be borne by you unless we have issued a returns number.

In the event of goods being returned for refund the original packaging must be included intact and in good condition.

Goods will not be accepted for credit if they have been connected to the water supply, used, damaged or in a condition that would reduce the resale value.

Goods returned must be securely packaged and we advise that insurance should be obtained from your carriers to protect you from any charges incurred through damage in transit. We cannot be held responsible for losses or damage to returned items during transit. It is your responsibility to ensure that we receive the returned goods in a resalable condition.

After Sales
The majority of problems arise through incorrect / poor installation or plumbing within the home. Telephone assistance will be given to try and solve any problems experienced. By accepting our terms and conditions you agree to return faulty goods for repair. If goods are returned under warranty and found to be in good working order return carriage will be charged at cost.
